This article presents a brief explanation on how an online bachelor's degree on liberal arts was designed and delivered at Colorado State University. The course was built using WebCt technology. The study includes description on program development and approval, marketing, services for online students, and issues that were raised by faculty members. The program was directed mainly at students from local community colleges. The effectiveness and success of the online degree program was reliant upon a great deal of communication and cooperation among all invested persons as well as careful planning and design of all aspects of the program.
