This study investigated the impact of technology in one secondary school in Botswana, part of a larger project called the Birmingham-Soweto Link Project. This was developed in 1998 to link schools in England to schools in South Africa. The research investigated the belief that the use of technology can strengthen the quality of education and make it more interesting, engaging, and student centered. The program was developed using constructivist ideas. Qualitative methodology was used and conclusions suggested that students participating in the program experienced significant changes in attitude and achieved higher academic standards.
